In a photovoltaic system, a potential equalisation is primarily intended to ensure safety by preventing electric shocks and damage to the system. PV epotential equalisations ensures that all metal parts of the system are at the same electrical potential. The appropriate clamping element is fitted between the module and the mounting rail to ensure optimal potential equalisation.
