OPTIFLEX 10 for east/west orientation, clamping on short side
PV mounting system, made entirely of aluminium, is perfect for flat roofs. Simply contact us for a custom configuration.
Every roof is different. Every project is different. We are still confident that the OPTIFLEX 10 is a suitable PV mounting system for your flat roof. It is why the system is suitable for east/west and south-facing orientation. And why the modules can be clamped on the short or long side. This means that the PV flat roof mounting system is suitable for many module sizes and fits all ALTEC components.

OPTIFLEX 10, as anon-penetrating PV mounting system for flat roofs, can be integrated with a south-facing or east/west orientation. If the photovoltaic system is orientated to the south using the elevation, the electricity yield is higher than with an east/west orientation with the same number of modules. Electricity production is at its maximum around midday. A PV flat roof mounting system with an east/west orientation produces most electricity in the morning and evening.
For non-penetrating PV mounting systems on flat roofs without direct roof fastening, it is essential to calculate the correct ballasting. This also depends on how slip-resistant the roof cladding is. Ultimately, the system must not move on the roof, even during a storm. After all, safety comes first – and safety is only possible if the required ballast and the resulting roof load with a PV mounting system for flat roofs have been calculated professionally.
ALTEC PV mounting systems make it easier for you to calculate the correct ballasting. Using the measuring device to calculate the coefficient of friction, solar installers can easily determine how slip-resistant the roof cladding is. Simply enter the values in the inspection report and we will calculate the exact ballast required for your PV system.
There are a lot of good reasons to use the OPTIFLEX 10 from ALTEC as a PV substructure on a flat roof:
